It's a Small World After All...

So i met this senior from SCI at the Singapore Press Club Seminar today, and Peiqi introduced her as the former news editor of the Nanyang Chronicle before we all headed back in separate ways.

Back at my block, as the lift doors were closing, a girl desperately rushed in and jabbed the lift button. The doors opened up again. And i gasped. (Inaudibly, of course, for a person as elegant as me.)

She lifted up her eyes, and then it was her turn. For who could it be but the same senior whom i just met! We stared at each other in shock for a fraction of a second.

In the short conversation in the lift i discovered that she had actually tried looking for me before because she had heard about me from her mother. She wanted to sell me her textbooks, but went to the wrong floor, thus never finding me.

Hah. What a small world we live in.
