My Carbon Footprint
Exam stress is driving me to do stuff that I would normally put off...like the carbon footprint calculator.
My results: i produce 2 tonnes of CO2 a year, much lower than the Singapore average of 8.38. Try it out for yourself at the BP carbon footprint calculator. It also teaches you on how you can reduce your carbon footprint.
Though quite proud of myself for my less than average contribution to global warming, i realised that there is a lot more that i can do and need to do if i want to fulfil my dream of travelling around the world.
Saving up more money to offset the carbon emission for my European/US (i'm hoping to go both places!) grad trip will be a good start :)
And what about you? What are you gonna do about it?

Deja Vu
We have a new Titanic among us today -- the superjumbo jet A380.
It is a beyond first class experience, SIA tells us. To have been able to get on its maiden flight from Singapore to Sydney was a story to tell in itself. Even my father and sister have flights booked on it already.
Throughout history, men have never failed to be amazed by the bigger and bigger things that we have built. First the Titanic, now A380, and who knows, China may be proclaiming that it has built the biggest spacecraft ever next.
If men can stand in awe of such things, why not the amazing creation that we see every day? The world itself, the indescribable length, breadth and depth of it, is a testament to the most original Creator of all.

Hairy issues
You know you need a haircut when two friends tell you the same thing on consecutive days.
But i'm just not going to do it.
I'm going to set a personal record of having only 2 haircuts a year! Now isn't that such an inspirational goal to work towards? hahahaa...
