It was good to be back. Even though no one was available to pick me up (every single family member being overseas), i was so glad to touch down on Singapore soil i nearly clapped and cheered when the plane landed. I could finally eat all my char kway teow and popiah and rojak and everything non-fattening. It didn't hurt that there was a tres beau air steward who volunteered to help a very pretty damsel (that's me, if you haven't realized) distressed with her carry-on luggage.
As for now, while awaiting for school to start and for tuition jobs to start pouring in (this is a very subtle announcement that i'm looking for tuition kids), i'm contented with practising my dance steps at home with my streamers.
Proudly made in Singapore with chopsticks and toilet paper, they are available for sale at 30 bucks each, half the price of the originals. Too expensive you say? Don't be deceived by its facade. A high level of workmanship is required for its production, hence its price.
To watch the streamers in action, note down 20.07.2007 on your calendar and make a trip down to the Diocese Centre in the evening. And as the advertisement tagline always goes --What are you still waiting for?
