Surprises -- Big and Small

First came one sunflower from JingYng in school, then another from Bella and Jas.

And then a third from my fellow progs just a few days ago.

Hehe if there was anything special about my 21st birthday, it was definitely the number of sunflowers i got!

Chengmin, Xinyi and Cindy also surprised me with this box of cupcakes that spelled Superstar! The chocolate ones were particularly yummy :)

Initially, they also gave me this pair of Ripples slippers instead of the Havaianas slippers i requested to test my reaction. Hehe they were surprised by how calm i was, and so decided to pass me my real present - real Havaianas slippers!

Jane, Shui, and Cheryl gave me this French bible and a shopping voucher by secretly placing them in my bag while i went to the toilet..haha they thought i was so blur that i wouldn't know till i reached home, and of course i found out before i even left school :) Now i've got a reason to read French every day!

And of course, the surprise that i had asked Han for which exceeded all my expectations...a gorgeous handmade notebook! thanks gal :)

On my birthday itself, Bella and Jas also came to kidnap me by blindfolding me all the way from my house to our celebration venue -- Crystal Jade in Jurong Point. They made me wear a bib all the way throughout dinner, and also asked me to choose my present out of 5 wrapped boxes, with the condition that i'll get whatever i choose..hehe. So here's the watch i so wisely chose!

And last but not least, my chilli crab dinner with my parents that i had been looking forward to for such a long time. Thank God for my mum who made it happen, and bothered to take pictures while my dad and i quickly grabbed the crabs and started eating greedily..

Above all these presents, birthdays are really just a celebration of my friendships and relationships!
